I already made a full review of SPARK, showing all the positive and negative aspects of the product. This is not a product placement: I just make these videos to show you how SPARKS works and how it’s easy to get the tone you are looking fore. The best guitar lessons online, and theyre free Fun, comprehensive and well structured courses for beginners, intermediate and advanced. Otherwise, you can watch the whole video and find out all the screenshots I made from the APP (amp, overdrive, noise gate and reverb) and create the tone by yourself. If you like the tone I created and you want to use it, you can find it in the cloud of SPARK, searching for “Metallica Ride DS”. In this video, SPARK is my input device in my daw. What I used? My Jackson guitar, my Positive Grid SPARK amp and my hands. Please leave a comment and tell me what do you think about the tone I created! Please focus on the amp tone: I think it sounds quite similar to the original iconic sound of the rhythm guitar played by James Hetfield in the album Ride the Lightning. The guitar tone is one of the most amazing Ive heard in metal to this day, it is EXTREMELY dirty and aggressive during the riffs, it is as dirty as it can be but keeping a 'metallic' sound to it that Master Of Puppets didnt repeat (really hard to describe it), and it is very bright/glowing during the melodies and solos.
